My name is Loren Schouest and I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate. I graduated with my master's degree from The University of Alabama in 2017. My passion for helping others drew me to the field of counseling. My collaborative style allows me to work closely with my clients to reach their goals.
I believe that all individuals have the ability to overcome life's struggles if they are given the needed tools and knowledge. My approach to therapy combines highly effective therapy models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy with a solution-focused mindset. I believe that the client is the expert of their own life but needs some help navigating and understanding their experiences and emotions.
"It's never too late to be what you might have been."
